Not Finding What You're Looking For?

Stop by for our Community Service Mentorship Hours!

These office-hour-like blocks of time are for you to explore organizations and volunteer opportunities within your area of interest!

Learn more about how it works and schedule a meeting on the Services page!

Let us know you volunteered!

Each time you volunteer, please go to Western Involvement Network, log in with your student credentials and fill out an Experience Request (instructions under "How to submit an experience request").

Experience Requests allow you to keep track of how many hours you volunteered, what you did, and how serving the community helped you grow.

Each experience will go on your Involvement Record, which you can then consult when building your application materials for internships, jobs, and more!

How to submit an experience request:

  1. Go WIN.WWU.EDU and sign in with your student login credentials.

  2. Navigate to your profile picture or icon at the top right of the page.

  3. In the drop-down menu, click on "experiences."

  4. Click "new experience."

  5. Fill out the form.

  6. The experience will show up on your Involvement Record (automatically generated online resumè that shows everything you've been involved in at Western).

  7. To get to your Involvement Record, repeat step 2 and select "Involvement Record" in the drop-down menu.

  8. Once on the Involvement Record page, click "print PDF" to see your automatically generated resumè of activities and volunteer opportunities.
